The Right Rev. Archimandrite Theoclitos (Triantafilides) led an incredible life. Born in Greece, tutor of the czar in Imperial Russia, and fluent in multiple languages, he was buried in Galveston as the first Orthodox priest in Texas!
The following video was taken by Father Thomas beneath the altar of our parish — the parish founded by Archimandrite Theoclitos — so that faithful Orthodox can view his crypt, which lies beneath our altar.
